Multiplication Facts will be reviewed in August and September. Every Friday in both months your child will take a math facts quiz. In August, the quiz will cover the 1s through 6s. In September, the quiz will cover the 7s through 12s. Those students who make 100 on at least two tests a month will be called Math Masters and their name/picture will be placed on the classroom bulletin board. Students who make an 'A' or 'B' on Topic Tests (end of unit test) will receive Academic Excellence Certificates.
Students are expected to bring their red math folder to class each day and to take notes in their folder. At the end of each 9wk period, grades will be given on the math folder which should contain daily math practice and notes on each topic.
